Worm Gear Drive

The Worm Gear Drive is used on hydro excavation machines as the boom rotation "turret".  The worm gear design allows controlled rotation and the heavy duty bearing type holds up under the rigors of hydro excavation. This worm gear can also be used on hose reels for reel rotation. 

Confirm the size of the inside 'throat' of the opening on your worm gear drive to insure you order the correct size.
